The Edison High School Marching Band is a corps-style marching band including brass, woodwind, percussion, and colorguard students performing in the outdoor pageantry tradition. With a proud tradition of excellence and achievement spanning almost half a century, the ensemble has recognized for excellence amongst similarly-sized ensembles on the East Coast.

The Marching Eagles are the eight-time Tournament of Bands Chapter 12 Group II Champions, having received five bronze and two silver medals at the TOB Atlantic Coast Championships. In 2006, the Marching Eagles joined the USSBA circuit and were not only undefeated in USSBA (A) competition, they were named the 2006 Mid-Atlantic States and All-States Group 3A Champions.

In 2004, the band was recognized by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors for excellence in musical performance. They continue to be featured in local and regional media.

The 2010 Edison Marching Eagles proudly present Without Music, a story of, by, and for the arts. Students can visit the composer's website to download current parts and listen to or watch multimedia files related to this year's program.
